How do I become a member in Subbuteo Association?
To become a member at your National Subbuteo Association and/or at the nearest geographically active National Subbuteo Association or Subbuteo Confederation, please follow the next steps:
How do I Enter in a League, Division, or Event?
In order to enter to an Event regardless of the Age Category or type of Event (exception are the Exhibition Events Worldwide) or to a County League or National Division, you have to follow the following instructions.
The overall idea is to first decide that you would like to get involved with competition Subbuteo by taking part to Subbuteo Association structure in your country of residence or in any other country you wish (please see club transfers etc laws of the sport etc).
Once you have been decided to do so then you should visit the National or International Subbuteo Competition Calendar (depended on your level of play, financial support etc) and start making your plans.
There are 3 options for you to choose from. Firstly you could just enter to your local or national League or Division. This means that you commit yourself to 30 Sunday fixtures starting in September and going through to end of March of the competition year. This entry normally goes hand by hand with entry at the CA-ICA-C-R-National Cup (taking place Tuesdays to Thursdays) that runs parallel to the above entry and the latter stages run until end of May (if you progress to National Level this is). The second option is to just look out for a strategic plan with entries at Events only. This makes you a Non League / Division Player. The attention should be given to geographical requirements, the traveling, accommodation and catering (TAC) costs and also the gains related to Prize Money, Ranking Points and Trophies. Events’ traditional day is Saturday except in cases of Championships that they are a three day Events and are taking part from Friday to Sunday. Obviously the third option is the combination of two previous options. The complete Entries
Step 2: visit www.subbuteodatabase.com and enter your details, type of entry, full address, County Area etc as well as the ten digit Reference number you have been given after your entry payment
Step 3: your entry are provisionally accepted until there is the official entry criteria met by you as those have been checked out by the Subbuteo Technical Support Dept. You should upload your certified items photo re your certificate eg. a Certified Goal, a Certified Ground, a Certified Set Balls, a Certified Fence, a Certified Corner Flags Set etc. Once you set up your profile later on via the www.subbuteodatabase.com, you can change this images and/or any other info re your profile, at any time.
Normally Entries start on the Friday 09:00 hours six weeks before an Event. The system opens with the Early Bird Entries that are the most economical ones. Three weeks before an event and the Sunday 23:00 hours, the Early Bird Entries replaced by the Entries that run until the 23:00 hours before the day of the Event itself. On the day of Event, Entries accepted as Entries on the Day. Entries on the day opens up from 06:00 hours of the day of the Event and it is an expensive way for a player to participate in an Event and should be avoided whenever is possible. In Open Events with a Challenge system in place, the Entries on the day could be extended and be accepted even 15min after the Final of the Event.
